I am a person with a servants heart. I have made a living serving others, and enjoy every minute of it. I am a licensed Cosmetologist, a Certified Nurses Assistant, and a Child Care provider. All three of my professions involve serving in one way or another. Take a look at this site too!

As I was a child growing up, I always knew that I wanted to do something that made a difference in someone elses life. Of all the opportunities out there I chose nursing first. I obtained my CNA license in 2001. The first job as a CNA was a huge wake up call for me. I went in thinking that I was going to love and serve sick people and make a big difference in whatever I did. That was not the case! The nursing homes are so understaffed and so busy that I hardly got to spend any real time with any of the patients. I was devastated by the way the patients were treated, the lack of concern for how they felt, and the way some of their needs would get shoved to the side due to business or staff just being to blind to care. I decided after five years that it was time for a change. So I decided to pursue a childhood passion of mine - haircare.  I went to beauty school, got my license and started working at a salon. I made good money, but was shelling out a lot for daycare. After getting married and having a second son fairly quickly, I wanted to stay home. I still do, and that is how I got involved in Child care. So here I am. I am still a CNA, still a stylist, still a child care provider and the best part still - a stay at home mom!
